Introducing the world of Fake Infinity

Blixaboy is the dubstep project of Mwanza Dover, whom Ian and I spent five years-give or take-making music as The Falcon Project. Here he has taken one of the more dub-influenced tracks from our album and given it his own dubstep treatment.
Also, this is an excerpt of a bio I wrote for Blixaboy recently:
Mwanza Dover has been passionately writing, performing and recording music for the better part of the past 20 years. With a resume as diverse as his, it's no wonder that the music he is making now as Blixaboy is pushing the dubstep genre into exciting directions by incorporating elements of shoegaze, dub, minimal techno, krautrock and film composition.
With the Blixaboy project, Dover is able to bring his divergent musical loves under one roof with mesmerizing results. After releasing a string of online EPs and a limited-run album entitled 'Digital Daze,' Dover is ready to introduce the music of Blixaboy to a wider audience. Setting the scene for the bold and distinct world of Blixaboy's future music, the new album 'Kliks & Politiks' presents this unique brand of cyberpunk dub executed with cinematic vision.

So our remix album is finally complete. It is available for a free download either through our bandcamp page or through a zip file you can get at our label's website. Take this link and choose the option you prefer.
I intended to write something on here about the remix project. I wanted to write my thoughts on each contribution and provide some links and information for each artist. Well, that's not going to happen now. I'm tired, and I should use my energy to write songs and book shows for the band at the moment. But fear not, this great blog post describing my intimate feelings about 'The Song's Been Damaged' Remix album will come in the future. Possibly even the near future.

Tonight, we are playing with UK songwriter and Drag City/ Secretly Canadian recording artist Scout Niblett at City Tavern in downtown Dallas. Denton's excellent Delmore Pilcrow opens.
Nervous Curtains T-shirts coming soon. Design by Daniel Delpurgatorio. I love the way the male figure's body looks, especially the ridiculous-looking arms.
Our debut album 'Out of Sync with Time' will be out on Chicago's Latest Flame Records on Feb. 23, 2010. The album will be available on 180 gram vinyl, cd or digital download.
We're also going to be posting an alternate version of the album, featuring remixes by some very talented artists around that time. Keep an eye out for that.
We're currently booking a bunch of shows around Texas in Feb. and March and our first proper tour for April.
