Moody Photos video

“Moody Photos” is the first video from the FAKE INFINITY album. This video was entirely shot, directed and edited by the band using a Flip camera, a $12 tripod, flood lamps and some free editing software.

This is our party video. This is what happens at parties. We stand around the kitchen awkwardly trying to make conversation. Everyone wants to be the DJ. Ian puts on an Elvis Costello Record. I take it off and put on Saint Vitus. Robert doesn't like this at all and turns down the stereo. One person dances. Somebody stares blankly at abstract video art that’s playing on the TV. Somebody sneaks off to partake in anti-social non-recreational drug use. Others drink, text, flip through magazines and shift uncomfortably. Finally, we try to sneak out without having to say goodbye to anyone.

Overdue

I haven't been keeping up here. What's new?
We finished mixing and mastering the second album. Now we wait. Details to come.
We shot a video for "Wired to Make Waves." Now we wait. Details to come.

Tonight we're playing at Club Dada with Spencer Krug's solo organ project Moonface. It was a last minute offer. We're psyched to play this show.

Second album

The second album is completely tracked. Once again, we worked with Matthew Barnhart at the Echo Lab in Argyle, TX. I feel like this material represents a significant leap for us while still sounding like the same band. I'll have more to say about the material soon and may drop some info on album cover, title, tracklisting and release date. But for now, I'm exhausted and drained. I put everything I had into getting those songs written and tracked. I need to rest and get ready to play Saturday's show at Club Dada (dates updated on the right).

Next week, we're back in the studio with Mr. Barnhart for mixing. We're psyched to hear this stuff all come together.
